I’ve been pondering whether this is year 8 or 9 (or 10?) with Sally and her family, and decided I don’t really want to know because whatever the number, it will make me feel old. But the bright side is that I’ve gotten to watch her kids grow up from year to year, and they’re just such an awesome bunch of kids (and young adults, now!). So even though I haven’t been doing too much photography work, I was definitely happy to blow the dust off the gear for this bunch.
Thanks as always! Hopefully I wasn’t too rusty this time around. 🙂
I met up with Callie and her proud mom Christy at Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort. The summer rains held off for a change, so we had fun roaming the lobby and grounds and making photos. I hope you like!
It was great to meet you both–all the best to Callie in her senior year, and beyond!
Always thrilled to get together with friends and repeat clients, I met Kevin and Kathryn and their crew at Langford and Dickson Azalea Parks near downtown Orlando. They’d never been there, so it was also a chance to show them one of my favorite spots in the area, a little historical jungle oasis in the midst of the city. The occasion was their son Kolson’s upcoming first birthday–I shot maternity and newborn photos for this little guy as well, so the one-year session makes the trifecta. I also made sure to get some shots of Kathryn’s daughters, who are turning into beautiful young ladies!
It was a pleasure as always, K & K! Hope to catch up with you again soon!
I met up with Angelica and Dennis and their adorable little boy (and the bun in the oven too!) at Disney Springs on Thanksgiving weekend, and the place was packed! But we had a good time making our way around and through the crowds to find some less-traveled spots for photos, and I think we ended up with some nice images. Hope you agree!
It was great to meet you guys, and I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season. Thanks for making me a part of it!
I don’t want to make myself feel too old, so I’m not even going to remind myself how many years it’s been now that I’ve been meeting up with Sally and family for an annual session! But it’s been a bunch, and I’m always honored to help capture her family as they grow. And grow they certainly have! This year we had some delays (thanks, Hurricane Matthew!) but it worked out well, because the weather when we finally did meet up was absolutely perfect. We got together at Crane’s Roost Park in Altamonte Springs, and this year Sally’s sister and family came along, as did the family dog (who is really something special too, though somehow that’s no surprise). I had a fantastic time, as usual, and I think we got some great shots–I hope you agree!
Great to see you all again, and thanks as always–see you next year!
I’d been looking forward to Cassie and Nate’s big day, and it turned out every bit as wonderful as I expected. Looking through the photos, I knew I’d have a tough time narrowing down my favorites for a blog post, but as a photographer that’s a great problem to have! It was such a special day, full of family and friends and love, and I think that shows in the photos. Take a look!
I was honored to be a part of your special day, Cassie and Nate! Congratulations again, and all the best to you!
I met up with Kathy and her lovely family on a toasty afternoon at Disney World’s Coronado Springs resort, a place I’d not really explored before. We got lucky with the weather–it was hot, but a thunderstorm cooked up nearby, which gave us some of the relief of clouds and a breeze, but thankfully without the rain! We had a great time roaming around, finding the little nooks and crannies I love about Disney parks and resorts.
It was very nice to meet you all, and I thank you for a great time! I hope the rest of your vacation is wonderful–I’m glad I could be a part of it!
Brad got in touch to work a photo session into their family vacation/reunion trip to Orlando, and of course I was happy to oblige. We met up at Kissimmee Lakefront Park, which is a real gem–I always enjoy working there. We roamed and made photos on a warm (but thankfully breezy) Florida almost-summer morning–I hope they had as good a time as me!
It was great to meet you all, and I hope you had a great time here in Florida. Thanks for making me a part of it!
I was thrilled to get the news that little Kolson had made his appearance and was doing well! He was a cooperative subject.. well, mostly. Meeting a brand-new little person always makes me miss those days, now that my own are well past that stage. But hearing about the broken sleep and nighttime feedings and all that did help to make me miss it a bit less!
Congratulations and best wishes to you, Kathryn and Kevin! He’s a handsome fellow, you guys did good.
I met up with Katie and Andrew in Baldwin Park for a sunny Saturday morning maternity shoot. They’re expecting their first child, a little girl, and I think I can say she’s going to be a lucky kid. I enjoyed roaming around with them!
Thanks for letting me help you remember these special times–best of luck with the little one’s arrival!
